The Treasury are enclosing a copy of a report made by Mr [Riley] Surveyor General of HM Woods at Trent South based upon letters from the Admiralty and the Navy Board concerning the marking of timber for use by the Navy and suggesting that the Navy Board send an official to accompany Mr [Riley] during his winter tour.
