Document signed by William Jephson, Secretary to the Treasury, 1647-1691.

The Commissioners of the Treasury directed the Commissioner of Customs to write by the last post to their Collector at Bristol, to pay or give credit to Mr Robert Henley for any sum he should want from time to time for the Press and Conduct of Seamen. Upon Mr Henley's receipt the Collector is appointed to draw bills upon you for payment of such money.
