Rooke President Ralph Jefferys agreed he had promised two small cartridges of powder to Will Bohan belonging to the expedition. Guilty under 24 Article, but as the embezzlement was small and he was of good character, he was sentenced to 2 months pay to the chest at Chatham. John Marshall Boatswain of the Fireship FLAME was accused of endangering the ship by setting a kettle of tar on the Cooks fire despite his Captains orders and is guilty under Article 27 of negligence.
