Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

Captain Fisher Commander of HMS JERSEY has informed my Lords of The Admiralty that his ship was formally allowed five main shroweds, but now he can only have four, their Lordships direct that you give your opinion of this. Their Lordships me also to signify when the CHESTER will be in condition for war. And the AURENDELL [ARUNDEL] at the Nore awaiting provisions that you direct the Commissioner of Victualling act with all possible dispatch.
