A series of 32 letters to John Russell in 1734.

Many letters have fees with accounts attached to them including one letter from John Reynolds thankful that captain Vanbrugh will not have to walk on sticks, Mr Eccles account from Malling, a letter congratulating John on his new position but believes that he should have been given a more superior job, a letter from Mr Andrews who is suffering from a sore leg these six weeks but wishes John many happy and successful years, a letter from Mr Rolfe thanking John Russell and Mrs Russell for the invitation for his wife, a letter from someone asking for a good word from Mrs Painter as he feels his presence would only make things worse, a letter from Mr William Latton about English captives, dated 23 February 1734.
