Handwritten papers related to service during the Adriatic Campaign of World War I.
Includes three naval signals and handwritten a few pages of a journal with entries for May and August 1917, probably related to Addison-Scott’s service on board HMS EARL OF PETERBOROUGH during the Adriatic campaign of World War I. One of the naval signals includes congratulatory messages between Rear-Admiral Mark Kerr and General Cadorna, dated 24 and 25 May, regarding successful action during the Adriatic campaign, and another, dated October 1917, is from Vice Admiral Thaom di Revel of the Italian Navy to the Senior Naval Officer in Venice.
