In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Questions have arisen concerning the entitlement of the widows of serving personnel who are killed at sea applying for Bounty after they have remarried. An Order in Council however has ruled in favour of such widows continuing to be awarded compensation regardless of subsequent status.
