In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosing a list of names of Watermen who are to proceed to Deptford to man the forty Shallops ordered to be brought round to Portsmouth at the rate of five watermen per Shallop one of whom is to be made responsible for the equipment and Stores belonging to each vessel. The vessels are to be taken down to the Hope Reach and placed under the command of the Masters of Transport Vessels first available for towing them round to Portsmouth. A Report is to be submitted giving the names of the vessels. The Master Attendant at Deptford is to be made responsible for carrying out these instructions.
