A neat letterbook belonging to William Cornwallis.
A letterbook kept by William Cornwallis written between 11 February 1789 - 6 January 1791 mostly to Philips Stephens including a letter about placing Lieutenants on HM Sloop ARIEL and the need to have more than one on long voyages; a letter about the need to collect fresh water and wine for the crew of the CROWN. Included is blotting paper and a loose sheet.
