Printed booklet for private circulation: 'The Spanish Civil War: HMS Shropshire at Barcelona. 22nd August 1936 to 16th September 1936' (including photographs). Private correspondence including letters from Admiral Dudley Pound. Papers relating to Tait's post as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Southern Rhodesia. Loose photographs showing portraits, groups, events, Tait's funeral and grave. Two issues of 'The Outpost', the regimental magazine of the British South Africa Police, and an issue of the magazine 'Rhodesienne' (with articles on Tait), 1946. Southern Rhodesia calendar, 1950. Mounted portrait of Tait by the photographic studio of Vandyke, 41 Buckingham Palace Road, London. Envelope containing table plans for dinners, 1942-1944. Handwritten and typescript notes written by Tait about his early life, also notes on miniature portraits. Several newspapers from 1926 (during the General Strike) plus various newspaper cuttings.
