Uncatalogued: Passing certificate for and photographs of Frank O'Brien Adams, 1915.

1 bundle of papers, 1 piece of card, 1 mounted photograph, 1 envelope, and plastic pocket. The pocket contains a passport-photo size photograph of a F. O'Brien Adams, and a number of naval/maritime patches which relate to the donor's rating of Chief Blacksmith. The envelope is addressed to the NMM and contains Mr. O'Brien Adam's Certificate of Service. The mounted photograph bears no description apart from "Portrait by USA Studios, Portsmouth", and is of three men, Mr. Frank O'Brien Adams (Chief Blacksmith), Thomas Richard Adams, Chief Sailmaker and William David Adams, Chief Mechanician. The piece of card has been torn so as to partially obscure the title (reads as "History of [...] : The Crest of H.M.S. Emperor of India"), and concerns the use of Indian emblems particularly the swastica. The bundle of papers contain a number of memoirs by F.O'B. Adams, titled "In the Diving Boat"; "Lower Deck Societies and Welfare"; "Twenty-Two Years in the Royal Navy"; and "Gallipoli (1915 - 1916)".
