In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Findings of a Court Martial held at Spithead in which Thomas Kew, Gunner of the SPY Fireship, was found guilty of neglect of duty in being absent from his ship and discharged and fined. Thomas Cranaway, Carpenter of the same ship was found guilty of the same charge and fined. The Sentence also deals with the case of Habbakuk Wily, Master of the Vulture and John Ford, Boatswain of the same ship, who were wrongly accused of embezzlement by a James Hunt and discharged. SIgned by Sir John Ashby, Admiral of the Blue, President of the Court and various Captains.
