In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Lawrence Wright served as C-in-C of twelve Ships of War, over and above Fireships and other small Craft, in his late voyage to the West Indies. He is entitled to the like Pension as is granted to the Rear Admiral of a Squadron, pursuant to the Establishment made in Council, dated May 19th 1675.
We direct you to cause a Pension of one hundred and fifty pounds to be settled on him, commencing from the time of his discharge from the MARY, and to continue whilst out of employment.
You are to sign Bills on the Navy Treasurer for payment.
