In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
John Lawes, Master Gunner of the BONADVENTURE hired ship, is to be appointed Master Gunner of the new 4th Rate building by Mr Snelgrove on the Thames. You are to enter him accordingly as soon as she shall be ready to receive him, together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 24 August 1693.
