Several documents related to Penney’s work at the Craft and Amphibious Material Department, including a copy of a reference letter from Commander F. Millar, whom Penney reported to at the Department of Miscellaneous Weapons Development from February 1941 to August 1945, and a certificate signed by Captain Adams, Director of Craft and Amphibious Material, confirming that Penney served as Head of the Personnel section from November 1945 to October 1946. There is also a typed sheet headed ‘Past members of D.M.W.D.’ (Department of Miscellaneous Weapons Development).
