The JOSEPH, Fireship, now at Portsmouth, and being refitted for service next summer, to be sheathed with lead.

The LIGHTNING, Fireship, cannot sail on her intended voyage to Jamaica as a result of damage sustained. Vice Admiral Mitchell ordered to detach a ship to replace her from those currently at Spithead.
