In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We have directed by Lord Berkeley, Admiral of the Fleet, to send the DORSETSHIRE to Spithead, and the bomb vessels into Portsmouth harbour to be refitted. You are directed to have the DORSETSHIRE, when she arrives there to be supplied with a new foremast, and the bomb vessels fitted with all dispatch and supplied with such stores and provisions as may be necessary for service in the Channel.
