In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Vice Admiral Mitchell informs us that the Ships which came with him from the Soundings desire to know what quantity of Beef and Pork they shall allow their men in lieu of Butter and Cheese. We send you herewith an extract of his letter and direct you to send to the Victualling Commissioners for their opinion what is proper to be done therein, giving us an account as soon as maybe.
You are to cause Captain Legge, Commander of the STROMBOLO Fireship, to be paid the Wages due to him to Michaelmas last.
