Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

Charles Barrett has been awarded a medal but has informed a member of the Admiralty Board that no money can be found to satisfy the award. The Navy Board is instructed to find some compensation for Barrett as he is going to sea.
