Enclosure. No date recorded. List of HM Ships comprising the Main Fleet. The list names six First Rates including the QUEEN and VICTORY, ten Second Rates including the DUKE and ALBEMARLE, twenty-four Third Rates including the DEVONSHIRE and CUMBERLAND, and eleven Fifth Rate Fireships including the FIREBRAND and STROMBOLO. The ships are distributed betwen Spithead, Balckstakes and Nore, Portsmouth, the Soundings, the Downs, Bilboa, Chatham and Margate.
