Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
Requiring Provisions to be made available immediately at Dower or in the Downs for a number of ships including the ESSEX and the IPSWICH that are expected in the Downs for patrolling off Dunkirk. The Provisions ordered for the FALMOUTH, CHARLES GALLEY and VESUVIUS Fireship at the Nore are also to be supplied without delay. The BERWICK; EDWARD and RUSSELL also expected very soon in the Downs and are to have their Provisions completed so that they may join the Fleet.
