A journal of HMS IMPERIEUSE kept by George William Thorpe while travelling from Portsmouth to Hong Kong; Nagasaki; Kobe; Yokohama; Hakodale; Otteranai Bay; Barracouta Bay; Port Lazareff. Towards the back of the journal is a table listing all the places visited and miles travelled. Removed from the Journal a few photos and a series of newspapers from 1932 to 1945 including a clipping from Daily Mail 23 April 1932 titled St Georges Day which is copied into the journal and the date is in Morse Code.
