Navy Board Minute Book, 26 September 1692 - 20 January 1693, detailing the resolutions of orders, manning, affairs of HM Ships in chronological order.
Provides a detailed contemporary index at the front of the volume giving ship names alphabetically along with the name of the captain's name, along with a short list of Admirals and their flags and also convoys and cruizers. Contains a useful numerical system for following minutes relating to a particular ship. Numbers provided in the margin against an entry for a particular ship, refer to previous and subsequent pages also relating to the same ship. In this way it is possible to focus on minutes solely relating to one ship throughout the book.
Volume inscribed with the name 'Rev[erend] R. Bond'.
