A series of certificates covering the service of Victor William Lake Proctor from Midshipman to commander 1916–1947 also includes a copy of the RAF Certificate 1925; letter 13 June 1923 stating that Lieutenant Victor William Lake Proctor has done a good job as Navigation officer signed by J B Stevenson while on HMAS ADELAIDE; Letter for leave 1 August 1933 to 22 September 1933; An application to use private motor vehicle on duty and authority therefor from Eastchurch to Gosport 23 September 1936 and appointment of Lieutenant Commander Victor William Lake Proctor to HMS COURAGEOUS 21 September 1936.
