Papers of Admiral Lord Hawke. Three sets of negative photostats have been received from Rear Admiral Thursfield. Originals now in museum: A. 12 letters from Admiral Hawke to his captains at Quiberon Bay 1760. B. 7 letters from Admiral Hawke to his son 1775-78. C. 3 letters from Lady Hawke to her husband, Sir Edward Hawke 1750-54. D. 3 letters addressed to Hawke, 1763-66. E. 9 miscellaneous letters addressed to Hawke 1755-67. F. Photostat of Navy estimates for 1768 were received 20 April 1953. G. Copies of papers from the bound volumes of Hawke manuscripts 1702-1800.
