Accounts, 'Memorandum to explain some articles in the account of the money arisen by the sale of Old Naval Stores between Xmas 1740 and Christmas 1749', dated 12 Feb 1741-31 May 1749. Includes two payments of £500 to John Harrison on March 1741 and 23 July 1746, 'for a machine for the discovery of the Longitude etc'. Also on 12 Feb 1741, 'William Whiston a reward for providing instruments etc for the discovery of the Longitude etc', £500.
