Instruction from the Earl of Sandwich, aboard the PRINCE, to Captain Brook, Commander of HMS FORESIGHT, notifying him of the appointment of Captain Arthur Langhome to command HM ships at Bergen in the event of the death or disability of Sir Thomas Tyddiman, Admiral of the English fleet, and appointing him to the command in case of the death or disability of both men. Dated 29 Jul 1664, but probably should read 1665.
