Copy of a letter from Sir Thomas Tyddiman, Admiral of the English fleet, on board the REVENGE, to Lord Claus von Alefeldt, Governor of the Castle of Bergen in Norway, desiring his assistance in destroying as many as possible of the ships of the United Provinces and assuring him that he will respect the subjects of the King of Denmark, dated 31 July 1665.
