Letter from the Earl of Sandwich, aboard the PRINCE, to Lord Claus von Alefeldt, Governor of the Castle of Bergen in Norway, notifying him of the King of England's command to destroy as many as possible of the ships of the United Provinces, informing him of the dispatch of Sir Thomas Tyddiman, Admiral of the English fleet, with a squadron to carry out the command and requesting his assistance in the matter, dated 30 July 1665. Also a copy of the same (2 items).
