Nelson letter on receiving news from St Vincent on his suspicions of the French squadrons movements.
Nelson to Lady Hamilton, 20 May 1799, (Harrison, I, 11; Nicolas III, 362), on receiving news from St Vincent of the Brest fleet. The letter mentions that St Vincent is trying to get information to Lord Keith whom has been ordered to St Vincent s locations. St Vincent believes the French squadron is bound to Malta and Alexandria and the Spanish Fleet for the attack of Minorca.
