Nelson to Lady Hamilton, on Addington and politics, and the departure of ships of the squadron.
Nelson to Lady Hamilton, Amazon, 20 Oct 1801, (Harrison I, 96, Nicolas, IV, 515) on Addington and politics, and the departure of ships of the squadron. He expresses, begrudgingly, that he will visit the house of Lords while he is on leave, just to please Addington. He describes the departure of Captains Conn, Rowley, Martin and Whitter to Nore, and how his own journey might transpire given the weather conditions. He mentions his own illness, and the illness of Dr Baird.
