Nelson to Lady Hamilton, May 22nd 8 o'clock in the morning [1803], (Harrison I, 108; extract in Nicolas, V, 72), 2 pages, on his concern for the Victory, and messages for Mrs T. He says that Hardy has taken the Dutch prize into Plymouth. By the end of the letter, and the day, Nelson has moved from the Victory onto the Amphion, to his “great mortification”. Lastly, he mentions he would like Alexander Stephens new book.
