Memorial, that shortly before his death, the Lord High Admiral, Prince George of Denmark, granted Fairfax a seat at his Council and the half pay of a Vice Admiral of the Blue [the flag rank Fairfax missed out on as it was given to Lord Dursley instead] After Prince George's death, Fairfax did not receive half pay and was also unemployed. April 1710.
