Letter from an unnamed passenger aboard the SS CALEDONIA, dated 2nd October 1900 about 5.30pm, just passing Majorca. Addressed to "Paul dog"(?), the writer describes their voyage shortly up to their arrival at Marseille on a cruise around the Mediterranean, calling at Port Said, Jerusalem and Cairo. Principally focuses on the weather, and the effect that this has had on the ship, making it pitch and roll, preventing people coming to dinner.
