Volume of notes on China clippers and transcripts from logbooks, mainly relating to the master mariner Andrew Shewan and voyages of the BLACK PRINCE (1863) and NORMAN COURT (1869), circa 1866-1879. Also a letter to Lubbock from John Inglis of the shipbuilders A.J. Inglis Ltd, dated 21 August 1914.
