Jago, in the Mediterranean, between 17 May 1877 and 17 December 1879; the armoured frigate HMS NORTHUMBERLAND (1866) in the Channel Fleet, between 18 December 1879 and 24 August 1880; and then the training brig HMS NAUTILUS (1879) in home waters, between 25 August 1880 and 21 October 1880.
