Logbook kept by Samuel Wise as master's mate on HMS STATELY
Journal of proceedings kept by Samuel Wise as master's mate on HMS STATELY (1784), under the command of Captain George Scott, in the Mediterranean, off the Texel and in home waters, between 10 July 1803 and 2 August 1804. On the latter date the STATELY was paid off at Chatham and Wise was transferred to HMS POLYPHEMUS (1782). The cover is marked ‘No. 4 Stately’.
