Sick And Hurt Board, In-Letters And Orders

In letters, 1706-7
Henry Heart, surgeon of HMS Kingston 20 April 1706, asked the Board to repay the £50, he had laid out in medicines curing 117 of the crew set ashore at Yorktown, Virginia. The Board refused on the grounds that Heart was merely performing his duty in curing the crew.
