This file contains official correspondence other than orders. Chiefly these are reportsand plans, minutes and details of naval courts martial. It includes letters from Sir John Norris, Admiral George Churchill, and a line of battle plan for the proposed Anglo Dutch combined operations against France in June 1705 (signed by Sir Cloudsley Shovell). Also included are minutes of the court martial of Captain Hamilton of the Fireship LIGHTNING (1706) and minutes of Fairfax's own court martial in 1704.
