Excerpts from the diary of Frederick Beauchamp Paget Seymour, 1882-1883.

Typescript sheets providing a transcription from the diary of Admiral Frederick Beauchamp Paget Seymour during the Egyptian Campaign, 14 May 1882 to 10 November 1882, together with the diary entry recording his reception at Windsor Castle on 11 March 1883. There are also transcriptions of two letters he wrote to the Earl of Northbrook, First Lord of the Admiralty, one of which gives an account of the bombardment of Alexandria in July 1882.
