A memoir of Joseph Chappell Woollnough for the years 1805-1810.
Volume containing copies of letters, forming a memoir of Joseph Chappell Woollnough between October 1805 and March 1810. During this period Woollnough was a midshipman on HMS AGAMEMNON (1781). Among other events, the letters describe losses sustained in the Battle of Trafalgar, how the AGAMEMNON then joined the squadron under Sir John Thomas Duckworth in the West Indies, and was later wrecked in the River Plate.
