Letter to John Stewart, 2 December 1808
With an extract from the 17 September 1808 edition of the London Gazette, regarding an investigation into the cause of the delay in the distribution of the prizes captured by the Royal Family to those entitled to them. The letter writer suggests that the writer of the Gazette advert is courting business and there have not been any new developments in the case. The signature on the letter is illegible
