In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We approve of your opinion that Milford is most proper for a Victualling port for the Irish squadron, and direct you lodge sufficient quantity of Victuals there, with an Agent from the Commissioner of Victualling appointed for issuing same to the Fleet on the Coast of Ireland.
Also direct the Fireship SOPHIA to be fitted for Channel service in place of SPEEDWELL ordered to be laid up, and the RICHARD AND JOHN and ST.PAUL (two other Fireships there) to be fitted for West Indies service.
