He took minutes of what I thought necessary for transporting 6000 men, say 4000 from the River and 2000 from Harwich. ALDEBURGH and SEDGMORE to be paid off. The ship with provisions for Gibraltar not to depart till further orders. LYON company to be paid conduct money.
Payment to be made to Pilots employed in the Dutch ships. Sir Richard Beach to return a List of ships at Portsmouth in sea pay and their condition for sea. Those ready to sail immediately for Spithead. Let me have an estimate of the amount to pay half of what is due to any ship 3 years or upwards in arrears. Vessels to be hired at Liverpool for transporting 1200 men to London Derry. Hire at Topsam a vessel to transport 5000 Arms, 400 barrels of Powder and 500 hand Grenades.Give upmost dispatch to all these services.
