In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Extract of a letter from Commissioner Greenhill at Plymouth. Confirming that orders have been given to Captain Gardner of the LYON to convoy two Victuallers to Portsmouth; but the ROCHESTER is ordered to Spithead directly and could escort them instead. The letter continues in somewhat confused fashion mentioning the movements of other ships and is incomplete.
