In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Leader, Commander of the CHATHAM, has given an account in his letter of the 21st inst; to our Secretary, of some damage the Ship has received. We are sending a Copy of this letter and direct you cause a careful Survey to be taken of the Ship, and that she be repaired with all dispatch.
