Document signed by Henry Guy, Secretary to the Treasury, 1631-1711
I have read to the Treasury Commissioners your letter of today's date concerning your attending their Lordships tomorrow with Mr Hooker, Mr Salmon, Mr Boyce and such other Timber merchants as you think fit, but finding you have sent to Sir Edward Gregory, the Commissioner at Chatham, to send the persons up, and that you doubt their being able be here tomorrow, their Lordships direct you to attend them tomorrow [Sevenight] at four of the Clock in the afternoon, and not tomorrow as appointed before.
