Signatures of the commanding officers of the warships of the German High Seas Fleet at the time of their surrender in 1918, mounted on card, framed and glazed. The frame was made from the oak of the last HMS BRITANNIA training ship. The title 'DER TAG 21st NOVEMBER 1918' is carved on the hinged doors covering the front.
