Your letter of 16 June presented a method proposed by the Surveyor of the Navy for weighing the ST DAVID, sunk in Portsmouth harbour, for about £3,500. This is to be performed in 6 weeks time, the materials for doing so to be prepared out of their Majesties stores and to be performed by the men of the Ordinary and yard.
