In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I have a small frigate now building at Shoreham which is fit to be a man-of-war or a fireship. I shall be content to deliver her upon the same terms as I have had for those already delivered and to have her so fitted at my charge. If for a man-of-war I will fit her with all manner of masts, yards, cordage, sails, anchors, blocks , tops, pumps, serving and rigging, and as much of all sorts as is customary allowed for 6th Rates for the sum of £2,400. Signed Nicholas Barrett, shipbuilder.
